Lior Finkel

Lior Finkel joins ICSR as an Atkin Fellow for Winter 2011.

Lior holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing from Ruppin Academic Center.

Lior was a Parliamentary Assistant and Political Advisor to MK Ilan Gilon with the Meretz party, and is an elected member of the party's management. The position includes coordinating between the Parliament, the Government and public or private institutes, initiating legislation, preparing background documents for committees and conferences, establishing the agenda, answering Public Applications and acting as spokesperson.

Previously, Lior was a Lobbyist and Governmental Relations Manager, where she managed client files, dealt with strategic advisory, led long term activities and represented clients via different government agencies.

Before that she was strategic and media assistance to the Head of the Emek-Hefer Local Council at the municipal elections campaign while she was the Vice-Chairman and Spokeswoman of the Ruppin Academic Center student union.

Lior is a Graduate of the Peres Center for Peace "Young Political Leaders" program and was also a Representative of the Israel Youth Exchange Council with The American Council of Young Political Leaders: Representative of an Israeli Delegation of Young Political Leaders to U.S.A. She is also an alumna of the "Seeds of Peace" Program.
